Navigate to your Atlassian account settings at id.atlassian.com → Security → Create and manage API tokens. Click "Create API token", give it a descriptive label like "CodeKraken Integration", and copy the generated token. Store it somewhere safe — you won't be able to view it again.
Tip: Use a service account rather than a personal account so the integration isn't tied to a single employee.
After setup
Once the integration is live, CodeKraken will begin monitoring the selected projects for new and updated issues. Here’s what to expect:
- New issues assigned to your agent are automatically picked up and worked on.
- PR status changes (draft → open → merged) trigger the corresponding status transition in Jira.
- Comments and review feedback are synced bi-directionally between CodeKraken and Jira.
- Sprint or milestone updates in Jira are reflected in the CodeKraken dashboard.
