Connect Asana
Follow the step-by-step guide below to integrate Asana with CodeKraken. It takes less than five minutes to set up.
Automated Workflow
Tasks move through your board automatically as code progresses.
Two-way Sync
Changes in either direction are reflected instantly — no manual updates.
Secure by Default
All credentials are encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS.
Go to the Asana developer console at app.asana.com/0/developer-console. Under "Personal access tokens", click "Create new token". Name it "CodeKraken" and copy the token immediately — it's only shown once.
Tip: For team-wide setups, consider creating a dedicated Asana service account and generating the token from there.
After setup
Once the integration is live, CodeKraken will begin monitoring the selected projects for new and updated tasks. Here’s what to expect:
- New tasks assigned to your agent are automatically picked up and worked on.
- PR status changes (draft → open → merged) trigger the corresponding status transition in Asana.
- Comments and review feedback are synced bi-directionally between CodeKraken and Asana.
- Sprint or milestone updates in Asana are reflected in the CodeKraken dashboard.
